Grey Concertina

Concertina one inch square pages.  Designed to use some one cm square scraps salvaged from when I was playing with scrabble boards a few years ago.
The scraps were a print of a scan of postcards I received when I was living in Paris. Printed on pale pink paper.

Book-inspired shapes

These two pieces are about 30x30cm.
they were inspired by a book I made (i can't remember which one, I think maybe this one with roofs)
. Not sure about the date, I'm putting it sometime in 2013.

and memories in a box(es)

I love working with ephemera (maps, guides, tickets). This lovely picture is one of many on The Rag & Bone Blog which are worth your time and effort to wonder at...

Great Clock

Loved this clock on the wall at a client's premises in St Leonards.
That's the receptionist's head in the foreground.
It made me think of this installation in the TGV waiting room at Charles de Gaulle-Roissy Airport in Paris. Lots of tiny works suspended from the wall just a tad, nice shadows.

Lovely graffiti

Saw this in Newtown a few weeks ago.
Prettiest "graffiti" ever.

Transforming conference lulls

Here is a little set of books I made while listening to a conference speaker outline the day's agenda and answer questions about the location of dinner and the pool and such.
If you look closely you may even see a Novotel logo on the paper.
