Pochoir adventures
Am experimenting with pochoir this week at Sturt Summer School in Mittagong.
Pochoir is a stencilling technique.
Here are some of my works.
Things i need to remember:
paint needs to be dabbed on and so needs to be quite tacky. If not it blobs and runs.
You can use sponges or brushes. The dabbing creates an interesting texture.
If you use transparent paints on black then a white under coat or pastel colours. Or it can look muddy.
